Importing a CSV file of YouTube channels helps you in two ways:
Enrich your list with emails – When you upload a list of channels, you can extract emails for any channels we already have contact information for.
Deduplicate future exports – Channels you’ve imported won’t be included in your future exports, so you won’t waste credits on duplicates.
Here’s how to set it up:
1. Prepare Your CSV File
To ensure your CSV file is ready for import:
It must contain exactly one column.
The first row should be the column header (any name is acceptable).
Include either YouTube channel URLs (e.g.,
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCxxxxxxx
) or channel IDs.Maximum file size: 10 MB.
Example CSV structure:
plaintextCopyEditchannel_url https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCxxxxxxx https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCyyyyyyy
2. Upload the CSV File
Go to the New Import section in ChannelCrawler.
Click Upload CSV and select your file.
A message will confirm when the CSV structure is valid.
3. Review Your Imported Channels
Once your CSV has been uploaded and validated:
A search is automatically created with the imported channels.
Click on the search to view the list of channels.
Here, you can:
Apply filters to narrow down the channels that meet your criteria.
Extract a list of emails from these channels, if available.
Deduplicate these channels from future exports you create.
4. Enrichment for Missing Channels
If any channels in your list are not in our database:
We will automatically find them, so they’re ready for future searches and exports.
Key Points
Imports help you quickly build a focused list of YouTube channels with emails where available.
Avoid paying for duplicate channels in your future exports.
